About us

MOSH (Maker Organization Supporting Home) was born in Fall of 2024 out of a desire to offer more opportunities for homeschool students in central Michigan to explore software engineering and robotics. And socialize. That's important for homeschool students as well.

MOSH evolved out of the success of a Lego Mindstorm course at a local homeschool co-optaught by MOSH's founder, Jeremy Ruble. Mr. Ruble, as a home-schooling dad, saw how motivating a taste of programming was for some of his students in the class. When the class ended, he wanted to make sure their were opportunities for these students to continue to explore their interests. So he founded MOSH as a vehicle to organize classes and raise funds for equipment needed to pursue technical career paths.
